Rarely does a modern day actor have the charm and acting chops to compete with the likes of Brando, Newman and McQueen – but Drive puts Ryan Gosling into that very realm of effortless cool.


Unfortunately for us, his quilted bomber jacket – inspired by Korean souvenir jackets from the 50s – is one of a kind, but this isn’t to say the feel can’t be replicated with your own little twists. To make the look the most authentic – shoes should be worn in. “We took special acetones and dyes and sandblasters to break them in so that they started to peel,” says costume designer Erin Benach. Of course, we’re not ones to condone this!

We had the wonderful opportunity to attend Wolf & Badger’s “Graduate Design Awards” party which was a night of the fabulously dressed, smooth jazz and of course, innovative design. Of course, we had to snap some pictures of our favourite finds, and the wonderful displays.

Of course, we had to be a little self indulgent and snap our own lovely display!
